My name is James Allen and the subject of this blog is Coldfusion web development and Internet technology. I'm a 32 year old web developer with 10 years experience (6 years specialising in Coldfusion) and intend to use this as a way to document the challenges and discoveries I will be making over the months with CF8, while developing a huge social utitlity / networking site.</p> <p>I'm also taking this oppourtunity to update my skills and get into model-glue. I feel the MVC design pattern is exactly what I need to build such a big site and manage everything effectively.</p> <p>I will of course be blogging about both model-glue and CF8 over the months.
